Maxwell Von Crawddady and his ‘Son Of Crawdaddy’ Blues Show on Three Triple R are Melbourne institutions. Max has been DJing at Cherry for a decade on Friday nights, but has always been keen to express his true passion for Blues through a focused Blues day/night at the legendary Cherry Bar. Now he has this chance and is curating CHERRY BLUES – Max’s Sunday Sessions.

Entry is free, doors open at 2pm and bands play three sets from 3pm onwards with Max DJing in-between. There’s a BBQ in AC/DC Lane and a family-friendly lazy boozy cruisy atmosphere shall abound.

Mr Black & Blues: From London through Beale Street Memphis and back home to Church Street Melbourne comes this soul rocking bluesman who has traveled America with John Butler and Europe with Alabama 3. ‘The Morning Light’ is here, thanks to Break Neck Records (Famously Mr Black & Blues took up the blues guitar after breaking his neck).
